Kids African Culture Fest...
Come join the Oak Center Cultural Center as we celebrate African culture through games, music, arts and crafts, face painting, food, and additional activities all centered around the children in our community. Special performances include Calypso sensation Asheba, a book reading and signing by Kamaria Lofton, author of "My City Is Oakland"; an African masquerade dance by Agaba Cultural Group; and southern stories told by singer/songwriter Alexis Rose. We will also have a 30 minute kinky/curly kid's hair demonstration highlighting tips, tricks and products to use on your child's kinky/curly hair. There will also be a jump castle and an infant/toddler playroom hosted by OCCC's Spark Play Group. You won't want to miss this event!!!
